Charlene Malarick, RN, BSN, CCRC, QA/QI Senior Specialist, is responsible for general study start-up and regulatory binder consultations, to facilitate the optimal conduct of human research within the framework of federal regulations, institutional policies, and good clinical practice. While assisting in all onsite reviews, she is the team lead for Directed onsite reviews. As a Clinical Research Nurse at both Mass General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Charlene brings her 30 + years of experience as a research nurse in areas of cardiology, endocrinology and chronic pain to educate investigators and research staff. Charlene maintains a connection to clinical research nursing, through membership in the Research nurse groups at MGH and BWH, and through the International Association of Clinical Research Nurses. Charlene received her Clinical Research Coordinator Certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in 2008.
